Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Veteran producer-director-actor J.P. McGowan starred in this low-budget silent action melodrama as an engineer who promises his dying father to hunt down the men who robbed him of valuable land in the west. McGowan does just that, but the gang hires an attorney to keep the nosy engineer at bay. Said attorney (Nigel de Brulier), alas, is a friend of McGowan's, and obtains further evidence of the gang's wrongdoings. The gang leader's son (Stanhope Wheatcroft) manages to flee with the evidence, but McGowan and his girlfriend (Kathleen Clifford) track him down. The director of this little film, Sherwood MacDonald, was formerly associated to the Balboa Amusement Corporation of Long Beach, California.
