Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
When the primary benefactor behind a thriving retirement home dies and the malevolent program director takes over, the struggling seniors are forced to get creative in order to prevent their golden years from becoming a living hell. Life used to be bearable at El Refugio, but even since their primary supporter passed away things have been rapidly deteriorating: Food and medicine is scarce these days thanks to cuts made by the evil program director, and if these seniors don't act fast they're likely to suffer a slow and painful demise. In order to avoid such a grim fate, four particularly desperate residents of El Refugio hatch a gruesome but somewhat ingenious plan for survival - murder the other residents at random, thus making living more comfortable for those willing to live with a bit of blood on their hands. When one member of the group is discovered dead, however, the three remaining survivors must struggle to untangle this sordid web on intrigue as betrayal and mistrust run rampant.
