Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Hong Kong filmmaker Wing Chow directed this standard action film about a thief named Lam Wai-tung (Miu Kiu-wai) who steals some diamonds from the gangster Chiu Ying-kau (Dick Wei). When Lam attempts to get a million-dollar ransom for the gems, Chiu has his thugs murder the thief, but still can't get his diamonds back. Chiu finds the dead man's brother, Lam Wai-leung (Max Mok), and attempts to get the information from him. When he is unsuccessful, he frames Wai-leung for murder. The innocent man is shot and must run from the authorities and the gangsters until he runs into Migi (Yukari Oshima), a Japanese reporter who gives him safe harbor and helps him recover from his wounds, but for reasons entirely her own. Charine Chan co-stars, and Asian genre buffs will recognize future star Aaron Kwok in an early role as a police inspector.
