Synopsis by Sarah Ing

Filmed in London in 1989, Christian Death -- The Heretics Alive is a concert presentation by one of the more popular goth rock groups of the '80s and '90s. Heretics Alive is the clan's 13th album and features the band's signature horror metal sound. The prologue includes a short video and an interview with guitarist/singer Valor Kand. The majority of the documentary shows the band on-stage, working through tunes like "Wretched Mankind" and "Church of No Return." For fans, the extra perks are shots of the band setting up, backstage footage, and opening act Population 2.
