Synopsis by Mark Deming

Writer, director, editor, and actor Todd Edwards makes his feature-film debut with this comic ensemble piece. Four guys pushing 30 are sharing a house in Tulsa: regular joe Wade (Edwards), Wade's couch-rooted brother Shane (Cory Edwards), straight-laced Kevin (Brad Knull), and lost-in-a-fog Matt (Peter Bedgood). All four are working low-paying jobs and having problems with women, until Kevin announces he's getting married. Suddenly everything begins to fall into place for all of them -- except Wade, who's even more adrift than he was before. Chillicothe was shown as part of the American Spectrum series at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.
