Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In the close-knit society of South Korea, a person without connections may as well not exist at all. When the gentle ex-con Joong Kwang tries to find work in Seoul, nobody so much as acknowledges that he exists: he can't even sell his blood. As he wanders along, he spies a goat on the loose and decides to steal it, knowing that he'll probably be caught and put in jail for his crime, but at least he'll be fed. In prison, the whimsical and philosophical man has become a kind of mascot for the others, who are not so willing as he is to own up to the reality of their outcast status.
