Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A popular comic struggles to discourage his wife's romantic attraction to a lifelong friend after being held accountable for her crimes in this romantic comedy-drama from Korean filmmaker Lee Mu-yeong. When successful comic Oh Doo-Chan (Choi Kwang-Il) appears on a telethon to help pretty Bae Eun-hi (Cho Eun-Ji) raise the money to help her sick child, the pair fall fast in love and Oh Doo does all he can to help Bae Eun launch a successful career in television. Unfortunately Bae Eun doesn't have the talent of Oh Doo, and her shot at stardom quickly turns disastrous. When Oh Doo-Chan is sent to prison for a crime committed by Bae Eun and Bae Eun decides that her feelings for lifelong friend and tae-kwon-do instructor Hwang Keum-sook (Gong Hyo-jin) have taken a romantic turn, Oh Doo must struggle to regain his one true love before their relationship truly bottoms out.
