Coach (Nicholas Colasanto) is delighted that his successful, but fundamentally lonely, daughter Lisa (Allyce Beasley) has found the man of her dreams. He is less delighted when he meets her fiancé: a door-to-door salesman -- and class-A creep -- named Roy (Philip Charles MacKenzie). Virtually everyone at Cheers (even Lisa) agrees that Roy is a slimeball, but Diane (Shelley Long) typically insists that there must be some good in the man. At least, that's what she thinks until she engages Roy in a mercifully brief conversation.
