Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
Elizabeth Rynecki is the great-granddaughter of Moshe Rynecki (1881-1943), a Warsaw based artist who painted many works depicting the Polish-Jewish community where he lived before his death at Majdanek concentration camp in WW2. A majority of Moshe’s work was thought to be lost during the war, but as Elizabeth continues to search she makes some fascinating discoveries, in turn forging a deeper connection to her deceased relative. Directed and co-written by Elizabeth Rynecki.
