This series of programs continues to provide underwater images of sea creatures, and information about their habits and threatened environment. Directed at science students in intermediate grades to high school, the programs examine the impact of mankind on the oceans of the world, and the effects on undersea life. The disappearance of some species and the dwindling numbers of others are only two of these effects. Challenge of the Seas, Vol. 1: Hammerheads of El Bajo looks at the annual migration of schools of hammerhead sharks as they move through the Sea of Cortez.
