This video is one of a five-part series that chronicles the history of castles in Spain and the Mediterranean Coast. The beautiful countryside of the region is home to many castles of ancient origin and fabled history. Ghosts of revelers at feasts and soldiers in battles echo in the halls of wood and stone. The story of those who passed that way -- Christian, Muslim, Visigoth -- are told in two films included in the volume. These are Once Upon a Time and Sentinels of the Sea.
