Judy Canova, Andy Clyde, foreign spies, a ghost town and an atomically driven trolley are what you get with Carolina Cannonball. The results are less amusing than baffling and tend to leave an unsuspecting audience weak and dazed after the first 15 minutes or so. The energetic Canova all but knocks herself out along the way but recovers sufficiently to yodel a couple of hillbilly songs, including the title tune and "Wishin' and Waitin'," both by Donald Kahn and Jack Elliott.
