When the Spanish National Junior Soccer Team announced open tryouts, Carlitos is eager to go, but Hipolitos forbids it; however, during a field trip, Carlitos is sneaks off with the help of his friends and not only attends the tryouts but makes the team. Now Carlitos has to skirt the rules on a regular basis if he wants to keep playing, but he has an ally in Diego (Gustavo Salmeron), who works at the home and coaches their soccer team; Diego is willing to led his support, but only if the youngster makes good grades and obeys the other rules handed down by Hipolito.
