Captain Beefheart: Some Yoyo Stuff
Share on
Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Captain Beefheart is widely recognized as one of the most innovative musicians of the rock era - his album Trout Mask Replica is considered a classic by most rock critics. When he finished his recording career in 1982, he assumed his given name Don Van Vliet and proceeded to live a very quiet life full of painting. Some YoYo Stuff documents what this interesting artist has been doing since his more high-profile days. Vliet talks a little about himself and offers his opinions on a variety of topic. Music video director and award winning celebrity photographer Anton Corbjin directed this short film.
