Synopsis by Brian Gusse
Although released in 1956, the footage for this one-hour documentary about South Pacific pygmies appears to have been taken years earlier. The ad campaign for this film claimed that the "natives" tried to kill the camera crew. If true, it's somewhat understandable, as much of the film consists of photos of topless native women. On top of that, the narration is chock full of the most blatant racist stereotypes.
