Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This documentary is made of film clips taken from the last 20 years of Arab cinema. The 1967 Arab-Israeli War marked a new age and contrasting attitudes in feature films, as more politically oriented themes are explored. Nouri Bouzid is credited with the first film to show a friendship between and elderly Jew and an Arab youth. While Bourzid declares each feature should push back censorship, others maintain the political views of the government and the preservation of centuries-old customs.
