Synopsis by Ellen Martinez
In 1983 Italy, a 17-year-old boy (Timothee Chalamet) falls in love with a visiting American scholar (Armie Hammer) who has been hired as a research assistant by his father (Michael Stuhlbarg). Over the course of a memorable summer, the two flirt as the teen discovers his sexuality. Directed by Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love), Call Me by Your Name made its world premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
