Synopsis by Janiss Garza

The story for this western was written by cowboy star Roy Stewart, who also played the title character, ranch owner Cactus Crandall. Crandall treks down to Mexico in search of some banditos who have been rustling his cattle. He finds himself in a saloon which is surrounded by guards of badman Mendoza (Joe Rickson). Crandall also spies a captive American girl, Helen (Marion Marvin) -- her father (William Ellingford) has been thrown in jail until she agrees to marry the bandit. With the help of his friend Carter (Pete Morrison), Crandall makes plans to rescue them. Carter gets the father out of jail and gives the signal for Crandall to get things stirred up in the saloon. He starts a fight, knocks out Mendoza and runs off with Helen. Mendoza isn't down for long, however -- he gives pursuit and succeeds in kidnapping Helen once again. In a thrilling chase, however, Crandall kills the bandit and saves the girl, who, naturally, consents to marry him.
