Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
Most students who take up Tai Chi are interested in improving their agility, balance, and flexibility. This video should help achieve these goals since it's designed for beginners and provides slow and simple explanations for each of the demonstrated movements. Viewers should be ready to fully focus and concentrate on what they are doing in order to repeat these exercises properly. Though it's not definite, some studies indicate that Tai Chi may provide some of the cardiovascular benefits usually only found by doing more strenuous workouts. Some older students even report lowering their blood pressure after mastering these types of Tai Chi movements and performing them regularly.
