This 40-minute workout is a great one for yoga students who have acquired many different levels of expertise. Instructor Michi Broman, along with two assistants, provides extensive information on basic yoga principles and demonstrates a variety of positions that help with many important skills. Challenging stretching exercises, balancing postures, and strengthening movements are shown. Those who follow along with the video will probably experience great relaxation and stress reduction once they master the demonstrated techniques. Several positions are particularly helpful for those whose muscles often tighten up during a long day at work. The two assistants present variations on many positions and movements so that beginners and advanced yoga students can easily make adaptations to the demonstrated exercises.
