Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
In one of his final films, former Universal cowboy star Art Acord, now toiling in cheap Gower Gulch productions, played a mining expert helping a girl (Carol Lane) and her kid brother (Lynn Sanderson) defeat an evil claim jumper (Cliff Lyons). Thoroughly geared toward children, Bullets and Justice featured audience-pleasing hijinks from not one but two animal "stars" -- Star the horse and Rex the dog. The formerly popular Acord, whose career was ruined by numerous off-screen brawls, would die under mysterious circumstances in Chihuahua, Mexico, on January 4, 1931.
