Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Gittens (Marc McDermott) is a crook who works up a realty scam with his partner Morton (William Wadsworth). The company offers investors the opportunity to own their own homes, but the company goes bust and Morton is thought to have run off with the money. Among the victims is Marie (Miriam Nesbitt), the fiancee of a minister, Reverend James Filikens (Edward Longman). Because she is now in dire circumstances, she becomes Gittens' mistress. She uses her position to learn enough about the swindle to take the information to the police. Once she does this, she returns to the minister. This programmer was shot several years before its actual release by the Edison Company.
