Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Silent Western star Jack Hoxie battled a look-alike bandit in this low-budget oater set in Canada. Silent Joe Dayton's life suddenly becomes very complicated when a gold shipment is robbed. Joe's girlfriend, Angel (Evelyn Nelson) suspects him of infidelity, and the law accuses him of the theft. The real culprit is Jacques Durand, who looks exactly like poor Joe. Everything is settled by the end of the film, of course, and Angel is forgiven for doubting her man. Producer-director Ben Wilson made much of Hoxie's double role, but in order to save on expensive double exposures, the penny-pinching Wilson hired Hoxie's look-alike half-brother, Alton Stone (later known as Al Hoxie), for the scenes where Silent Joe and the villain Durand met face to face.
