Synopsis by Janiss Garza
As Burke Randolph, William Desmond isn't exactly a cowboy in this comedy -- but he plays a pretty good one on the New York stage. Montana girl Betty Jordan (Betty Francisco) catches his performance on Broadway, and when she goes home, she's excited to find out that the play has hit the road and is coming to her town. But the town sheriff, Dan McGann (Thomas Delmar), is jealous because Randolph has stolen Betty's affections, so he makes sure that the actor gets into some real cowboy situations. Life imitates art as Randolph is about to be hung, just like in the play. But Betty sneaks in and cuts the rope and the two ride off into the sunset.
