Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Adrienne Landreth (Corinne Griffith) has become estranged from her husband Geoffrey (Joseph King) because he refuses to let her go on the stage. So she asks her twin sister, Drina Lynn (also played by Griffith), to take her place as Mrs. Landreth while she pursues her acting career. Although Drina, a simple country girl, tries to act as coldly as her more sophisticated sister, her gentle nature comes through and Geoffrey finds himself once again falling in love with his wife, or at least the woman he believes to be his wife. Drina, in fact, is falling in love with him, too. They go to the opening performance of a show in which Adrienne is appearing under a stage name. When Adrienne sees her husband in the audience, the surprise sends her tumbling down a flight of stairs. The fall kills her, and Drina is free to really become Mrs. Landreth. This picture was based on a story by Leigh Gordon Giltner, which appeared in Young's magazine.
