Volume 11, Bright Sparks: My House, illustrates the engineering behind home construction in different regions. It explores the vast array of materials used in houses, including brick, timber, earth, glass, concrete, and steel, and shows how some homes are built to withstand environmental dangers such as earthquakes and fires. Other programs in the series are Bright Sparks: Trains, Planes, Boats and Cars, Bright Sparks: Computers, and Bright Sparks: Water, Water Everywhere.
