Synopsis by Betsy Boyd

The film Brigham Young: A Biography profiles the powerful man, both admired and despised for his unorthodox beliefs. Brigham Young, who led the Mormon Church's fateful migration to Utah, spent his days leading in several capacities. He was a political figure and an explorer, a nonconformist in all arenas of his life. Many men and women looked to Young for guidance and wisdom, thinking of him as a prophet of sorts. Brigham Young University in Utah honors the self-motivated pioneer and keeps his name alive today.
