Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Rex Beach supervised the making of this picture, along with being its writer. Alice Andrew (Kay Laurel) and Bob Barclay (Robert McKim), troupers from a burlesque company, find themselves stranded in the Alaskan gold country. There, they meet up with Dan McGill (Russell Simpson), a middle-aged prospector. A romance develops between Alice and McGill. But Barclay, who has been drifting about, returns, and Alice, who has tired of McGill, takes off with the younger man. Eventually McGill strikes it rich, and he and the couple are destined to meet up again. An interesting note about this movie is the love affair between the main characters -- it was very rare in the days of the silents for a man in his forties (and who looked it) to be portrayed as a romantic character.
