Conductor Semyon Bychkov leads the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln in performing the works of Johannes Brahms in two performances directed for the screen by Hans Hadulla. "Symphony No. 3 in F Major, Op. 90" is captured live at the Kölner Philharmonie in May of 2002, and "Symphony No. 4 in E Minor, Op. 98" is filmed during a performance at the same venue in October of the following year.
