Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The title Bracelets refers to both the decorative kind and the more functional handcuff variety. Bert Coote plays an elderly jeweler who can't possibly be as stupid as he looks. He isn't, and it is he who first sees through a gang of thieves posing as Russian royalty. By playing dumb (if not downright senile), Coote is able to outsmart the crooks. Director Sewell Collins based the screenplay of Bracelets on his own stage play.
