Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The title character in this Spanish production is a young wastrel played by Luis Pena. The boy's recklessness leads to several misadventures, including an unsavory involvement in a murder. But when Pena enrolls in a Spanish naval school, he is imbued with a sense of responsibility and patriotism. More importantly, he learns the value of friendship through the example of classmate Antonio Vico. Emerging as a 100-per-cent patriot, Pena willingly marches of to the battlefields of the Spanish Civil War, where he ultimately meets his destiny.
