Unbeknownst to one another, Cory (Ben Savage) invites Shawn (Rider Strong) for Thanksgiving dinner with his family, while Topanga (Danielle Fishel) invites Shawn's ex-girlfriend Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) Realizing that the situation is an uncomfortable one, Topanga decides not to meddle, but Cory can't help trying to bring Shawn and Angela back together. The results are both predictable and surprising, if such a thing is possible. Elsewhere, Eric (Will Friedle) allows his generosity to get the better of him while working as a department store Santa. JB Gaynor makes his first appearance as orphan kid Tommy.
