Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A marine who just got back from serving his country in the Middle East recruits his two best friends to form a quasi-militia unit in director Ryan Noble's topical psychological thriller. Andrew Jackson has seen things on the battlefield that he will never be able to forget. Later, after returning home to safety, Andrew calls up his old pals Dustin and Brodie and proposes that the group take action to secure the homeland from foreign invaders. Their first course of action is to take hostage a group of illegal Mexican immigrants, a stunt that earns them national media exposure. Emboldened by the press they've received and eager to remain relevant, the group decides to make the Arizona/Mexico border the base of their operation. But while Dustin's Latino girlfriend voices serious concerns about Andrew's mental stability, her pleas for level-headedness ultimately go unheard, opening the door for a terrible tragedy as Andrew, Brodie, and Dustin make their way to the Mexican border.
