In 1889 New Mexico, a struggling pimp is trying to make ends meet. With the gold rush all but over, he is convinced that there is still a fortune in the yard of his bordello. With his prostitution business down, he struggles to keep food on the table for the five girls that work for him and an orphaned child, Angel, that the group took in. When the man mysteriously comes into some money, the women are convinced that he sold the child to a prostitution ring, and they plot to kill him. Carlo Liconti directs the historical drama co-starring Kris Holden-Ried and Nisa Gunduz.
