Wang Yu is the star of Blood of the Dragon Peril. The film adheres to the formula with near-religious fidelity. Two warring clans...revenge...heroic clan member vs. less heroic enemy. After the two factions virtually decimate one another, things boil down to one-on-one. There's hardly an unpredictable move, but that's what the audiences apparently crave. For videocassette purposes, Blood of the Dragon Peril has been paired with Revenge of the Dragon into a single 172-minute package.
