Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Bessie Barriscale stars as Peggy, the daughter of career criminal Patrick Muldoon (Joseph J. Dowling). Bearing a lifelong grudge against the wealthy and privileged, Muldoon raises his daughter to hold the same prejudices and also trains her in the subtle arts of his "profession." After a year or so of preparation, Peggy is able to crack open a safe blindfolded and eagerly awaits her first opportunity to emulate her dad. Unfortunately for Muldoon, Peggy falls in love with former embezzler Robert Benton (Edward Coxen), and for his sake promises to reform. The young couple's efforts to go straight are complicated by the interference of a ubiquitous master criminal known only as "The Mask," who forces them to pull off one last job. Chances are that Peggy and Robert would have both ended up in the pokey were it not for the timely intervention of dedicated detective Quinlan (H. M. O'Connor), who contrives to do the "wrong" thing at the right time.
