Review by Michael Costello

A very sorry excuse for a John Woo film, this low-budget TV movie may have a couple of decent camera tricks up its sleeve, but there is little else to recommend it. The standard actioner stars Dolph Lundgren as a bodyguard who reluctantly agrees to protect the nine-year-old daughter (Padriagan Murphy) of a casino boss targeted by Russian mobsters. In an inadvertently ludicrous development, Lundgren develops a fear of the color white, following a grenade explosion. Luckily, psychologist Dr. Rachel Stein, played by sexy supermodel Kate Vernon, is available to provide extensive therapy. Given the bad dialogue, mannequin acting, cheap sets, and flat staging, it would be almost impossible to identify this as the work of the usually brilliant action director. However there is one carefully choreographed slow motion shootout which bears his signature. Viewers can decide if they're willing to sit through the rest of the movie to see it.
