Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Andrew Ferguson (Creighton Hale) and Lucy Baird (Virginia Valli) are cub reporters on a big-city newspaper. They decide to swap assignments, and Lucy is fired for the story that Andrew wrote. When the bosses find out that Andrew was the author, he is fired too and they both go back to Lucy's hometown to run her father's newspaper; Dan Baird (Jack Drumier) is running for sheriff and he needs the help. Andrew runs into trouble because there is a big conflict between the clean-living people of the town and a group of whiskey runners who are trying to throw their weight around. In spite of the troubles the runners cause, Baird is elected sheriff and he rounds them up, and the town prosecutor is exposed as one of the crooks. After the gang is squelched and things calm down, Andrew and Lucy head for the altar.
