Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Big Jim Garrity (Robert Edeson), a mine superintendent, is falsely accused of murder by a dope doctor and is forced into exile in Europe. After several years, he has made a fortune and returns to the U.S. under an assumed name. He makes his way into society, where he falls in love with the girl (Eleanor Woodruff) whose brother he is accused of murdering. Garrity and the girl marry, and it turns out that she, too, has a dark secret -- she has become addicted to the drugs given to her by the same doctor who has caused Garrity so much grief. The film draws to a close after the doctor is exposed as a quack -- and also the real murderer.
