Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Thanks to an incorrect newspaper item, Frank Barclay (Lowell Sherman) assumes that his fiancee has married another man and accordingly marries rambunctious Kate Tripler (Lenore Ulrich) on the rebound. Kate knows that a mistake has been made, but she conceals this information from her husband, not wishing to lose him. By and by, the truth comes out, and Frank disdainfully deserts his wife in favor of his "proper" fiancee. As these things are wont to happen, our hero realizes at long last that the girl of his dreams is a nightmare, and he sheepishly returns to Kate, who despite her volatile temper forgives all. The trade magazine Variety dismissed the film as a "regulation" story with the standard cliché ingredients.
