Synopsis by Gönül Dönmez-Colin
One of the most important authors of the twentieth century, Bertolt Brecht would have been 100 years old on February 10, 1998. This documentary takes a close look at the writer's enigmatic life, particularly during the obscure period when he lived in Eastern Germany. It gives unexpected facts and answers to questions that have never been asked before, and it tries to understand how Brecht's love affairs were punctuated with evident neurosis. This interesting documentary, which also includes archival material, won the Official Jury Grand Prize at the Figueira Da Foz Film Festival in Portugal and participated in the Berlinale, Goteburg and Kerala International Film Festivals.
