Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In Canada, quirky comedian Paul Bellini became a minor star after playing "the Towel Guy" on numerous episodes of the innovative sketch comedy series The Kids in the Hall. Bellini is also famed for penning the political satire This Hour Has 22 Minutes. For many years, Bellini was the pride of Timmins, a small Ontario town, and he greatly enjoyed the honors accorded him until a fellow resident's upstart daughter Shania Twain grew up to be a North American country music sensation and stole his thunder. This good-naturedly humorous documentary chronicles the fallen-Bellini's reaction when Ms. Twain returns to Timmins for a much-publicized "homecoming."
