Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
Former diplomat Mason Skiles (Jon Hamm) returns to Beirut in 1982 to act as a hostage negotiator when an old friend is kidnapped by terrorists. However, his mission is complicated by the various agendas of the CIA, the Mossad, and the terrorists’ leader, as well as his own personal demons. Rosamund Pike, Dean Norris, Larry Pine, and Shea Whigham co-star in this thriller, which was written by Tony Gilroy and directed by Brad Anderson.
