Synopsis by Hal Erickson
One of many limited documentary series carried by The Learning Channel cable service, Behind the Fame offered behind-the-scenes glimpses of famous American TV shows. In so doing, the series relied heavily upon film clips, critical commentary, and celebrity interviews. The opening installment concentrated on a brace of celebrated "ensemble" series, L.A. Law and Hill Street Blues. Behind the Fame first aired on February 2, 2002.
