A young, liberated Indian woman (Kriti Sanon) becomes infatuated with an author (Rajkummar Rao) after connecting deeply with a book he wrote. She begs his publisher (Ayushmann Khurrana) for an introduction, but nothing goes as planned in this romantic comedy.
