This documentary profiles 1960s songwriter and music producer Bert Berns, who wrote such memorable hits as "Twist and Shout" and "Brown Eyed Girl" before dying suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 38. Co-directed by his son Brett Berns and Bob Sarles, BANG! The Bert Berns Story made its world premiere at the 2016 South by Southwest Film Festival.
