In this series of two programs, instruction is given by David Howard, who has coached many top ballet stars, including Gelsey Kirkland, Cynthia Gregory, and Natalia Mararova. During his career, he performed as a soloist with the Royal Ballet, and has taught ballet since 1977. In Ballet Class for Beginners, he introduces the vocabulary of ballet to the beginning student, and demonstrates the fundamental stances, emphasizing the correct posture. The program is designed to supplement basic movements taught in ballet studios for young students.
