Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This slapstick-style comedy was extremely popular with audiences in its native Bulgaria. The story concerns a crude, lecherous and unscrupulous Bulgarian who has taken his cases of rose oil to the West, hoping to make a fortune with them. He only manages to get to Prague and Vienna, but his rudeness, incomprehension and general willingness to cheat and leer go a long way towards spreading his peculiar brand of chaos and disorder far and wide.
