A type-A businesswoman and a laconic farmer team up for a long car trip in director Jefferson Moore's Backroads and Lilies. Alza finds herself stranded hundreds of miles away from her family on Easter Weekend. Desperate to reunite with them, she begs for help from a man-of-the-Earth who much prefers to keep to himself, As the duo make their way, they find out they have more in common than either of them ever expected.
