Synopsis by Janiss Garza
After failing on Wall Street, John Porter (Leslie T. Thorpe) moves his wife and daughter, Bab (Jackie Saunders), to the West so he can try his hand at ranching. Bab falls in love with a young man, Sterling (Arthur Shirley), but when oil is found on the Porter land, making them wealthy, Bab's mother sends her to finishing school in hopes of breaking up the romance. Instead, it is Mr. and Mrs. Porter who break up while Bab is away. When she returns home, she finds her mother running around in social circles and behaving foolishly. Bab determines to get her parents back together, which she does, and Sterling saves Mr. Porter from financial ruin. After that, no one can stand in the way of his romance with Bab.
